Test methodologies developed by in.mat-Lab for Filter aids and Construction applications

in.mat-Lab has recently developed and applied a fast and accurate method for Filter aids testing that showed repeatability and agreement with prior methods, allowing also for the filtrate to be heated or cooled to show effect on flow rate.

Based on a similar concept, we have also developed and successfully applied a new method for the measurement of expanded perlite water retention and drying rate, based on specific needs of applications such as plasters, mortars. ceiling tiles and perlite boards.

Both methods are recommended as quite repeatable and representative for the specific physical characteristics of the tested samples, providing useful information for their final applications.
