Welcome announcement of a new member to our team

We are pleased to announce that Michalis Fitros has joined our team as Research Geologist.

Michael was born in 1992 and grew up in Lavrio. He is a graduate of the Department of Geology (2015) and holds a Master’s Degree in Mineral Raw Materials – Environment (2017) from the University of Patras with a specialty in Rare Earths and Precious Metals. He has served as Deputy Chairman of the Local Youth Council (2008-2010) and Member of GEOTEE, the Lavreotics Society and the Lavrion Museum Committee. He has participated in European and domestic programs (XENOS, UNESCO) as well as lecturer at conferences, symposia and training seminars.

Based on a proven scientific work (publications in prestigious international geological journals, presentations in conferences, published mineralogical books and scrapbook, supervision of thesis and postgraduate geology dissertations). Michael will be a valuable member of in.mat-Lab in industrial minerals evaluation and R&D.
